The Journey Begins in Lijiang: A Yunnan Pre-Wedding
Long before their walk down the aisle in Singapore, Jayden and Campbell’s wedding story began in the breathtaking landscapes of Yunnan. The couple flew all the way to AILAND’s Yunnan Studio in Lijiang for a pre-wedding shoot that captured the sublime beauty of snow-capped mountains and tranquil nature. The iconic photos and video played during their reception served as a gorgeous prologue to their wedding day, setting an elevated, romantic tone for the entire event.
The Attire: One Bespoke Cheongsam with PINBLANC , Two Distinct Looks
For their traditional Chinese ceremony, Campbell envisioned a classic ensemble that balanced cultural reverence with modern versatility. We custom-tailored her bespoke Chinese Qipao (旗袍) along with a custom cape-shawl to create two seamlessly distinct looks:
- The Classic Elegance: A tailored Qipao designed with refined silhouette lines that gracefully honored tradition during the tea ceremony.
- The Modern Layer: Paired with an intricately crafted cape shawl, giving Campbell a second, elevated look for her portraits — chic, sophisticated, and effortless.
The Floral Concept: Phalaenopsis & Soft Pink Baby’s Breath
Our design team transformed the high-ceilinged spaces of the Mandarin Oriental into a romantic, airy sanctuary.
- The Photo Backdrop: The reception backdrop featured a cloud-like texture of soft pink baby’s breath (Gypsophila) intermingled with pristine white accents, creating a whimsical yet modern setting for guest arrivals and photos.
- The Bridal Bouquet & Car Florals: Designed with fresh, pristine Phalaenopsis orchids, the bridal bouquet and main car floral arrangements exuded an air of contemporary luxury and noble grace.
A Secret Search for Lotus: The Touch of True Love
Behind every beautiful design lies an even sweeter love story.
Campbell has always held a deep love for Lotus flowers — a symbol of purity and perfection. However, with their wedding taking place in November, lotus flowers were completely out of season across local markets.
Knowing how much it meant to her, Jayden quietly went on a mission of his own. In a quiet, heartfelt gesture, he managed to source a fresh bundle of lotus flowers directly from a local temple entrance. Surprising Campbell on the morning of their wedding, this unexpected gift brought tears of joy and created one of the most tender, unforgettable memories of the day.
